Do you supply uniforms?

Yes, Action will supply you with a uniform prior to your first swing. This will include all role-specific PPE and a $100 contribution towards your safety boots.

Will I be provided with meals and accommodation while rostered on?

Yes, we provide meals and accommodation to all employees while they’re at one of our remote villages.

What facilities are available at our remote villages?

Most villages have a gym and retail/convenience store. The facilities at villages vary and some also have bars, swimming pools and multi-use recreational courts.

What rosters are available?

Our most common roster is 14 days on, 7 days off (also known as 2:1). Other rosters are available, but only for certain roles.

How many hours a day will I be expected to work?

Hours of work can vary depending on operational and departmental requirements. However, most of our employees work a standard day of 11 hours.

Will I be paid for my week off (R&R)?

No, you’re only paid for the hours that you’re working at the village.

Can I leave my belongings at the village during my week off (R&R)?

We endeavour to provide our employees with an allocated room where possible. Lockers are available at most villages, so employees can leave bulky items behind.

What is the rate of pay for the role I am applying to?

If you are applying for a role covered by our Enterprise Agreement, please refer to the Agreement for the applicable pay rates. For other roles, salaries are negotiated within an agreed band which reflects market rates.

Is the work full-time or casual?

We offer both full-time (permanent) and casual roles. This information can be found on our job listings.

How often would I be paid?

Employees are paid fortnightly in arrears.
