SUMMARY

Action Industrial Catering (AIC) have managed the accommodation facilities at the Forrestania Nickel Project for Western Areas since the mines inception in 2004.

The initial AIC mobilisation was to service an early works camp of with approximately ten residents. As the project developed, so did the size of the AIC service offer, and investment in the site. Ten years later AIC still manages Western Areas’ flagship operation which has grown to 450 rooms and average occupancy of approximately 250 residents.

Services offered at the Forrestania Village include:

Catering, Housekeeping, Tavern, Minor maintenance, Gardening, Bus driving, Aerodrome services AND INDUSTRIAL SITE CLEANING

SUMMARY
AIC has provided catering and support services at the Jaguar Camp for 10 years, initially under the banner of Jabiru Metals and more recently as part of the Independence Group.

In October 2014 AIC successfully retained the catering & accommodation contract for a further 3 years on a ‘Cost Plus’ principle the benefits of which is to provide flexibility to the client but still within set budgets. This demonstrates our commitment to working with our clients on a daily basis in order to provide a quality driven service within agreed commercial parameters reflective of today’s competitive market.

Having been in situ at the Jaguar camp since it its initial inception and mobilisation through to its current stage of full production stage, we have affiliated ourselves with the key fundamentals that IGO expect of their service provider.

SUMMARY
AIC tendered for and won the contract to manage the FMG village operations at their Solomon Hub in August 2015, winning and taking over the contract from an incumbent operator.

Our Operations Team mobilised to site late in August and first meals were served 5 days after arriving at site. The preparation and execution of the AIC mobilisation plan by our Operations and Management Team won high praise from FMG Site Management through to Board level for its professionalism and seamless implementation.

Unfortunately current market conditions have seen this Village put into care and maintenance.

Services offered at Castle and Dally Villages included:

CATERING, HOUSEKEEPING, TAVERN, RETAIL, MAINTENANCE TRADES, GARDENING, HEALTHY LIFESTYLE COACHES
