Pipe Patching

If a customer’s sewer or stormwater pipe is damaged in a single or inaccessible section, sectional relining or pipe patching can be installed to repair and renew the affected section.

Pipe patches range from 900mm up to 5 meters in length and can usually be installed without the need for excavation.

Pipe patching is a more cost-effective solution than a full inversion pipe relining as it requires less equipment to complete the repair and is much less disruptive. However, if multiple sections of the affected pipe require repair, relining the entire drain may be a more ideal solution.

How it works:

  • The affected drain is cleared of all tree roots and debris using a high-pressure water jet
  • Using a CCTV camera, the drain is inspected and measured for the relining repair
  • An inflatable bladder is prepared, liner is installed to the bladder and resin is applied to the liner.
  • The prepared bladder is then inserted into the drain to the correct position and inflated to a specific pressure to form the pipe
  • Once cured, the bladder is removed from the drain leaving the new liner precisely adhered to the host pipe
  • CCTV is then used to inspect the new liner, footage is recorded and supplied to the customer
  • We ALWAYS clean and restore the work site and remove all related rubbish from site
