Beachside opulence…
In this remarkable project the allure of superwhite dolomite stone transformed a mere kitchen benchtop into the cornerstone of a design direction that resonates throughout the entire apartment. The sense of tranquility unfurls through a palette of smoky grey-blue, entwined with elegant pale timber flooring and doors. Brushed gold taps and hardware, alongside artfully placed tiles in terrazzo, marble, and kitkat formations, complete a canvas that redefines luxury.
Guided by the vision to infuse contemporary grandeur into a beachside setting, our mission was clear: breathe new life into a tired apartment with refined selections to bring about a sense of mature sophistication. The metamorphosis began with the very foundation—the transformational superwhite dolomite stone that set the tone for every design choice.
The transformation started at floor level: the dark and glossy brushbox floor was treated to a thorough sanding and bleaching, transforming the once dim apartment space into a luminous panorama that dances with light and spaciousness.
In the heart of the home – the kitchen – form and function work in harmony to offer a culinary haven that embodies sophistication. The curved stone peninsula and fluted fascia create that all important wow factor, and marry perfectly with hand made clay pendant lights. The boiler cupboard underwent a remarkable transformation, emerging as a stylish pantry-bar that merges practicality with aesthetics.
Weaving a consistent aesthetic throughout the dwelling, softest blue cabinetry with elegant, fluted detailing and meticulously chosen tiles define the new laundry, bathroom, and en suite. The walk-in wardrobe features custom pale timber-look joinery, a finish repeated in the internal cabinetry in the kitchen and pantry.
A narrative of breathing life into the worn, of crafting opulence within a beachside haven.
