Description

• The clients are a mother and daughter. 
• Their brief was to completely refurbish their 2 bedroom apartment.   
• The existing building has a beautiful character with a mix of heavy sandstone and weatherboard walls. It is located on the waterfront at Neutral Bay. The apartment features exposed sandstone walls, adding to the character and cosiness.  
• The design retains the sandstone walls internally, opens some up slightly to allow more light to the interior.  Other than that, the apartment is gutted to provide new flooring, ceilings, bedrooms and robe joinery, two bathrooms, kitchens and associated spaces. A pizza oven, BBQ and vergola is added so the owners can fully enjoy their outdoor space on the ground floor.  
• The architects worked with Interior Designer – Mina Staples who designed a lush interior fit for two professional ladies to unwind.
